| Mission Statement
Rocky Mountain Roller hockey League is a non-profit
organization dedicated to providing youth and adults of
all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to learn and
develop in-line hockey skills through league play.
Through its' programs, athletes build self esteem and
self discipline, teamwork, and camaraderie, and a
respect for fellow players.
History
The league began as a grass roots program in 1997,
starting with less than 70 youth participants. It has
grown to over 1000 combined youth and adult league
members in seven years.
The most important element in this growth has been our
staff of volunteer coaches. We have some of the most
dedicated and professional people involved in the sport.
Our coaches offer unique and innovative concepts through
a variety of instructional styles and are registered
through USA Hockey In-Line. There are currently over 40
teams in the youth in-house league. The new 54,000
square foot arena includes 2 regulation USA roller
hockey rinks with a Sport Court A-Tek surface and a high
intensity lighting system. The facility can accommodate
seating for 100 spectators and provides 8 locker rooms.
The RMRHL arena has also completed construction of a
concession area. we look forward to having a pro shop in
the future. Our new facility provides us the
opportunity to expand and establish new programs like
Learn-To-Play for beginners, Women's programs,
competitive leagues, adult leagues, youth and adult
drop-n sessions, wheelchair hockey, and various skill
camps and clinics. The RMRHL arena will be the premier
facility in Colorado to play in and will frequently host
national in-line hockey tournaments and other related
activities.
